Sister Rosetta Stone, meteorologist extraordinaire, gives her forecast

Hello Kittens! It’s time to carve the pumpkins and have a nice bonfire!

Well here we are at the end of October. It really could not be more beautiful in the Hostess City. No late season hurricanes. The weather is so temperate. Cool mornings and moderate afternoons. What humidity? Nice fall breezes and the bugs have taken a hike. Savannah Heaven!

If I were planning a visit to our fair city, this is when I would want to come and see Savannah. Our guests are here in force, enjoying all the sights. The locals are positive, and we even give directions. Unlike an experience Madge and I had on a trip to New York. We were just a bit lost. So I spotted a cop car and walked up to it.

“Hello officer, do you happen to know where …”

Before I could even ask my question, the officer said “Do I look like a fucking information booth?” and then up went the car window. Madge and I said, “How rude!”

Well that is why Savannah is called the hostess city. I mean some people. We love and appreciate our guests! Just a tip: the Saturday Farmers Market in Forsyth Park is just overflowing with fresh vegetables, fruit, honey, cheese, herbs, etc. You name it, it’s there. And great walking weather to boot.

So Kittens, Sister Rosetta Stone says, get outside and enjoy it! That’s the weather. Trick or treat.

Sister Rosetta Stone entered the Convent of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence when she was ten. Everything else is history.
